Both are accountants.  A bookkeeper is responsible for recording and categorizing the company's daily financial transactions such as income, expenses, payroll, loans, etc.  We produce monthly and yearly reports for the owners to use for decision-making.  A CPA takes those reports and prepares the company's taxes when time to file.

We start with about an hour planning meeting.  After that, I come in for 2-3 hours to connect to current platforms, review accounts and start integrating tasks we agree upon.  Over the next 4-6 weeks, I come in a few times to finalize new routines and implement the strategies that will help your business.
